RECENT GATHERING IN BANGKOK AND UPDATE

Shalom All,

Let all that we are praise the Lord, with our whole heart, we will praise his Holy Name. Let all that we are praise the Lord, may we never forget the good things he does for us.

It seems that it is a long time that I never write a report…supposedly I am thinking about subject title above and my last one is on February 2008.

I had met a few senior pastors lately and share the vision of the End Time, evangelise the Thai and also my mission objectives in India. They were amazed that how God really use me during this period. Moreover, most of them unable to do the same things by surrendering everything (Book of Luke 9 v 3) like what I did. I had give up my car, donated stuffs, etc and I left nothing (no assets at all) except the two big bags…the most expensive items is my notebook and certificate of appreciation from Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad while I go everywhere to evangelism and to follow what God have ask me to do. Even before I go to Bangkok, I only left RM 400 (Thai Baht 3,400) in my wallet (this is all my saving) but God had provided me sufficient funds within a week before I depart and receive a love offering about RM 3,000 (Thai Baht 25,500). In India mission, I also left RM 820 (Thai Baht 7,000) before I leave Bangkok and God provide me again the sufficient funds with the total of USD 600 and spent 7 weeks in India while came back with the balance of USD 400 when I reached Singapore. Todate, my funds only left less than RM 700 only and I know that God will provide me as I don’t think about it and put my effort on His Work, the Lord will provide. Praise the Lord for everything and also blessed the people who is giving through their heart.

On the March 23rd, 2008, I was invited to join the gathering with the community at Lumpini Park in the morning together with a Bishop, Pentecostal pastors and a former senator. Many people who were doing their own sports activity got up the attention and attend the gathering. I was briefly introduced to the people as I am the only foreign pastor around.

Last Saturday, I was invited to attend the Thailand Bible Society launching over the new Bible “Thai - Chinese Bible” with 150 Thai pastors together with Hong Kong Bible Society staffs. We had spent time together and share our common topics on the commandment of God and Jesus Christ.

One of the Reverend, an advisor to the Prison Community, he had invited me to visit the prisons in Thailand and share the Word of God to them. I agreed to the visit as I also visited the prison in India too but it is the timing of God and not me. They will need to submit my application to the Prison Authority to allow me to visit them. Within this few weeks, I don’t think that I able to make it as well the application will take time, therefore I will go after my return from India.

Last Sunday, I attended a small church near my place and the name of the church is Laksi Church. It had started in 2003 and the congregation is about 17 members, in the small shop lot at the condominium without much growth. The pastor (also lecturer in the seminary) had invited me to join him to build the church after we had a long discussion, as you know that I need to go to Malaysia before depart to India in early May 2008. I agreed to be his co-team for these 3 weeks as a voluntary basis and build the community as well train the disciples (this is God vision to me). The members also asked me when are me going to preach the Word of God to them and even called Rabbi. It is amazing that the Lord’s work again and all Glory to the Lord.

On my previous email, I am planning to have a conference for two days in Kuala Lumpur but end up I have to postpone or cancel the event as I need to help the Laksi Church and I will be back to Malaysia around April 21st - 23rd and spend a week or less in Malaysia.

Blessing,
Pastor Steve Peter H S Kok

FREELY WE HAVE RECEIVED, FREELY WE GIVE: UPCOMING MISSION & CONFERENCE

Shalom and blessings to all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

“Freely you have received; freely give.” – Matthew 10:8

I pray that each of you continues to experience the mighty work of God in your life. May your hearts be touched by His love and your days filled with His peace.

As I reflect on my recent mission journey, I am reminded of how important it is to first share love and joy with the people we meet, even before introducing the Gospel. The Good News is best received when hearts are softened by genuine compassion, not pressure.

A Journey Led by the Spirit

Throughout this mission, I have seen the hand of God moving powerfully, not through my strength, but by His grace alone.

Whether calling for rain (and seeing it come like the days of Elijah), witnessing healing, or casting out demons, I know this one thing for sure: It is all the work of God.

Some have told me I am like a light, bringing joy and love to those in darkness, but all glory belongs to the Father, the Creator of the world, who anoints and uses His servants for His Kingdom.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

Let us always lift up our hands in thanksgiving to the Lord, for He alone is worthy.

Upcoming Travel Plans

By the grace and will of God, I will be returning to Kuala Lumpur in mid-April 2008, and shortly after, I will depart for Singapore at the end of April, where I’ll stay for three days before continuing my next mission to India.

Two-Day Conference in Kuala Lumpur – Seeking Venue & Date

While I am in Kuala Lumpur, I am planning (God willing) to conduct a two-day conference, where I will share what the Lord has placed on my heart.

This conference is free of charge, as the Lord has reminded me that salvation is a gift, freely given through Jesus Christ. We give because He first gave everything for us.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8

Conference Topics:

  1. Evangelism through Love & Joy
    • Sharing the Gospel begins with showing genuine love and joy. Wait upon the Holy Spirit’s guidance before speaking.

“Be filled with the Spirit.” – Ephesians 5:18

  1. Judging Within Communities
    • Why is there so much judgment within the Body of Christ? Is it healthy? How should we respond biblically?

“Judge not, that you be not judged.” – Matthew 7:1

  1. Understanding Extremism
    • Are so-called extremist groups truly extreme, or are they misunderstood and driven by fear or hatred from others?

  1. Prophecy and the End Times
    • Sharing visions and insights from the Book of Daniel and other prophetic Scriptures regarding upcoming global events such as war, economic instability, and disasters.

“The wise will understand.” – Daniel 12:10

  1. Personal Testimonies & Vision from God
    • I will share what God has shown me, along with testimonies from the mission field that glorify His name.

Final Words of Encouragement

Dear friends, I did not plan this conference for fame or promotion. The Lord simply said:
“Do it, and charge nothing.”

And so, I obey, just as Jesus paid the price for our salvation, we are to offer freely the love, truth, and joy of the Kingdom.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” – Matthew 22:37

Please keep this upcoming mission and conference in your prayers—for God’s leading, protection, provision, and power.

I am excited for what God will do, and I look forward to meeting many of you soon.

God bless you all.

With love and blessings,
Pastor Boaz Kok
